Product Information

The ADVC-110 is a bidirectional media converter. Conversion is accomplished by transferring media data from an IEEE-1394 Firewire port and outputting through composite and Y/C video and unbalanced stereo audio connections and vice versa.

Note: For use with 4-Pin Firewire port an optional power supply is needed.
Note! A video capture card or OHCI FireWire connection is required to capture DV. IEEE 1934 FW800 connectors are not supported.

• Proven DV CODEC

Canopus's DV codec works well with a variety of recording and playback devices and both Mac and PC computer platforms.

• Locked Audio Support

Other converters can lose audio/video sync when converting longer segments of video. The ADVC-110 is a DV converter that supports locked audio when converting from analog to digital, assuring perfect audio and video synchronization.

• Audio Only

This unit allows the conversion of the audio by itself if the user desires.

• Color Bar Reference

This device features a color bar reference signal generator to further enhance its integration into video production operations.

• Software compatibility

Compatible authoring software includes but, is not limited to Sonic Foundry Vegas, Final Cut Pro, Avid Express DV, Adobe Premiere Pro, Pinnacle Edition, Ulead Media Studio Pro and Windows Movie Maker.

• Operating Systems

Both PC and Mac platforms are supported with the ADVC-110
