Chimera's OctaPlus family of Octagonal Light Banks have a patent pending design that allows conversion of this 5-foot Light Bank to the OctaPlus 7-foot Light Bank in just a few minutes, with no tools, with the included conversion kit. This unique design gives you two light banks in one. The whole Chimera OctaPlus family is compatible with strobes or continuous light sources. When used as a 5 ft bank, it will tolerate up to 1200 watts. When used as a 7 ft bank, 2000 watts is the limit. This light bank requires a speed ring to adapt it to your particular strobe or hot light. Refer to the Accessories section, or click on the Speed Ring Adapter Chart in Specifications for your speed ring. A 3770 stand adapter is included so the weight of the light bank is not supported by the fixture. Also included is a 3750 grip head and a durable travel duffle bag. |
