The Svat CVP800 provides portable handheld digital video recording for your analog security camera. Instead of having to go to a central location to review footage, here's a recorder that you can place close to your camera or take it with you from location to location as needed.

Video is captured in high quality using the MPEG-4 compression format and is stored on the included 128MB SD memory card, which goes right inside the recorder. Additionally, this recorder features a built-in microphone and along with its audio I/O ports provides full audio capabilities.

You can set up recording to take place at a certain date and time or when motion is detected. This not only saves valuable storage space but more importantly makes it easy to locate crucial event footage by allowing you to do a search based on those factors.

Video images can be viewed simply by connecting the unit to a standard TV using the supplied A/V cable, with familiar VCR-style controls giving you easy FF, playback and rewind options. You can also remove the SD card from the recorder and view its images on any PC equipped with a memory card reader. In addition to the supplied AC adapter, this unit can operate on optional 2 AA battery power, offering truly portable recording for your home or business.
