Mace

The Mace ST-122GC is a CCTV camera hidden inside a realistic looking smoke detector. The prevalence of smoke detectors in homes and businesses means that it can be used in virtually any environment without drawing suspicious attention to itself. It can be used by parents to monitor the performance of a newly hired nanny, in jewelry stores to keep an eye on patrons and staff, in nursing homes to observe possible negligence or in any situation where the idea is that the camera shall see but not be seen.

With the camera operating wirelessly, it can easily be installed virtually anywhere or taken from location to location as needed. Going wireless also eliminates the possibility of someone spotting the RCA wire and figuring out the true nature of this device.

The difference between a Down View and a Side View model is that in the Down View version the camera points straight down and is therefore suitable for monitoring a cash register or desk. In the Side View version the camera is positioned to point at an angle and is perfect for general purpose viewing applications.
