The Bogen/Manfrotto BO525MVB503K video tripod system consists of the 525MVB two-stage aluminum tripod, 503HDV fluid head, 3284 75mm half ball, and the MBAG90P transport case. Bogen/Manfrotto revised the proven 503 fluid head taking into account the increasing performance demands of High Definition Mini-DV camcorders. The result is the 503HDV Pro. The greater resolution of High Definition video means that details as well as errors in movement are more apparent, and thereby demands a more refined means of support. The continuously-variable fluid drag system of the 503HDV provides just the right amount of dampening for any shot on your list- from whip pans to slow motion, just dial in drag to touch. This capability in conjunction with the 3three-step counterbalance delivers the type of finger-tip camera control normally reserved for much more costly production fluid heads. The 525MVB two-stage professional video tripod features torsion-resistant dual-tubed aluminum alloy legs, fast action stage locks, and 75mm half-ball leveling. Capable of up to 61.5" (156.2 cm), and down to 12.5" (31.8 cm), few subjects will elude the range of this support. Refreshingly, it weighs just 7.5 lbs (3.4 kg), and is secured for transport when folded with built-in breakaway clips.
