• Addressable Ports

Similar devices can be be independently controlled by the same extender such as set-top boxes. Otherwise the set-top boxes would all receive the same codes.

• RS232 Connectivity

RS232 (Serial Connection) is a more robust and stable control compared to IR. Each RS232 port will allow control of a separate device such as advanced A/V Receiver, projector, DVD, or lighting control system.

• Contact Closures

Motorized equipment such as projector screens, plasma lifts, curtains, etc. typically use contact closure for operation. The RFX9600 has input for 4 distinct devices that can be controlled via contact closure.

• IR Code Range

Most remote control systems are limited to 125kHz whereas the Pronto system can transmit virtually any IR code up to 1MHz.

• Dual Network Options
