The WizCom InfoScan 3 Light enables users to scan, store and transfer up to 500 pages of printed data to a PC, laptop, PDA or any Windows application via Infra-red or USB connection. This completely mobile device offers users a quick and easy way to take notes from almost any printed document, creating fully editable MS Word documents.
Features

Supported scanning languages include English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Three Operation Modes

  • Notes and QuickLink - capture printed data on the fly and download to PC or PDA at your convenience.
  • Scan to PC - scan text into the active cursor of any application which accepts text in real-time.
  • Beam to PDA - transfer data from notes to your Palm Pilot or Visor via IrDA interface.


Captures up to 500 pages of printed text

Optical character recognition (OCR) recognizes 6-22 point font size text (bold, italic, underlined, inverted) at 97% accuracy. There is also a preference setting for numerical and inverted text recognition

Alternative input tools are included for entering words that you can't scan (e.g., street signs).

Transfer data easily to PC or PDA via Infra-red (IrDA) or USB interface

Compact and ergonomic design measures 6 x 1.5 x 1" and is also lightweight at a mere three ounces.
