The LC-A+ is a direct replacement to the original LC-A model. As the original camera could no longer be produced in St. Petersburg, Lomo's engineers found a small, old-school camera factory capable of producing world-class mechanical cameras in the center of China. They had built a compact yet enduring collection of high-end Leica rangefinder copies and professional panoramic cameras. Their staff had extensive experience and a true love for camera creation. The Chinese factory pulled the original Lomo lens apart and rebuilt its every nook, cranny, edge, and corner, providing the same radiant colors and extreme contrast as the original Russian lens.
