Panasonic has included a free, VM-BN1 DVD burner with the HDC-SD5 for a limited time, giving you the ability to burn your video directly to a DVD in full HD quality. You can take this camcorder anywhere you go, in a pocket or small bag. The SD5's light weight and in the palm of your hand dimensions make it convenient enough to take with you daily for recording at any moment. The 1920 x 1080 full HD offers 30% more pixels than most HD camcorders, giving you rich, detailed video like you've never seen.

Panasonic's advanced optical image stabilization system provides even more protection against the age old problem of handshake. The Leica Dicomar Lens gives you a professional quality lens that offers up crisp images thanks to the 3CCD image sensor. No tapes are needed either, as the HDC-SD5 records to an SD memory card in all of its splendid HD beauty.

• VM-BN1 DVD Burner

Panasonic has included the VM-BN1 DVD burner, free, with the HDC-SD5 camcorder. This burner enables you to burn your video directly from the camcorder's SD memory card to a DVD via the USB cable. The full HD format of your video will transfer to the DVD and be available for you to view immediately after the burning is complete.

• 1920 x 1080 Full HD Recording

The Panasonic HDC-SD5 SD/SDHC digital camcorder features 1920 x 1080 Full HD Recording. The SD5 comes equipped with 30% more recording pixels than conventional HD camcorders, giving you full detail and resolution that plays back beautifully on HD or standard TVs.

• Advanced Optical Image Stabilization

Advanced optical image stabilization (OIS) is Panasonic's best-ever built-in OIS. Advanced OIS will safe-guard your recordings against shaky hands, the occasional bump, and car motion.

• Leica Dicomar Lens

The HDC-SD5 comes with a professional-quality Leica Dicomar lens, made specifically for HD camcorders, boasting the advanced 3CCD system. Three sensors capture your video in rich, full detail and clarity.

The HDC-SD5's small size makes it extremely portable, ready and able to go anywhere you go. Put it in your coat pocket or shoulder bag for those just-in-case moments. The light weight of the SD5 makes it even easier to record on the fly - you'll barely know it's there.

• Records to SD Memory Card

Record all your memories to the SD Memory Card - you can either connect to a DVD burner via a USB cable to store your recordings or upload from the SD Memory card to your PC and then burn to a DVD.
