The Fantasea F-400D housing kit includes the Canon Rebel XTI (Black Body) digital camera with 18-55mm zoom lens. This is a full featured housing with interchangeable ports and a 6-pin bulkhead for a very economical price. The housing includes the standard flat port for the Canon 18-55mm zoom lens with zoom control. All important camera controls can be accessed thought the housing allowing complete creative control in your underwater photography.

The housing operates safely to a depth of 200' (60 m). Camera installation is quick and simple, and the gasket seal can be checked visually through the clear housing. The rear lid of the housing has been designed so that it is impossible to put it on wrong. This minimizes the possibility of flooding the camera. In the rare case that the housing does flood, one year DEPP flood insurance for the camera body is included. The insurance covers product defects as well as user error.

The double handles allow easy attachment of strobe arms. The housing is sized and weighted for near neutral buoyancy and superb handling underwater. External Strobes are recommended to improve the images by bringing out the true colors and reducing the illumination of particles suspended in the water.

This Canon digital camera allows manual operation with any underwater strobe with 6-pin to 5-pin sync cord adapter. e-TTL strobes in a housing will provide full TTL operation when connected to the housing with a 6-pin sync cord.

An assortment of interchangeable lens ports allows use of most macro, wide angle, and zoom lenses. A magnifier provided with the housing offers enhanced viewing while wearing a diving mask.
