The Bogen/Manfrotto Car Window Pod with 701RC2 Video Fluid Head is for use with a binocular or spotting scope, when viewing from an automobile. It can also clamp to any other thin, flat material similar to tempered car window glass. The 701RC2 includes a long (fixed length) pan arm with a soft handle and separate locking mechanisms for the 360° pan and the -75° to +75° tilt movements. The maximum load is 9 lbs, but since it clamps to glass, the max weight allotment may vary by the strength of the glass. Thus, only lighter weight optical devices should be used in conjunction with this mount.
