The Samsung GX-20 SLR Digital Camera combines comprehensive functions, stunning design, and ease of use in a durable camera body. With a 14.6 megapixel image sensor, the GX-20 produces sharp images with rich colors and greater dynamic range. The camera can capture both JPEG & RAW File formats and it is equipped with a one-touch RAW button that makes it easy to capture a RAW image of that special scene, even if the camera is set to capture in the JPEG format. Additionally, RAW files can be directly converted to the more universal JPEG format right in the camera via the built-in converter. The Samsung GX-20 is compatible with Samsung's own lenses and is also compatible with all Pentax lenses (the camera uses the Pentax KAF² bayonet mount). First, an Anti-Dust Coating right on the image sensor filter prevents dust from attaching to the surface and affecting your image, and second, if dust does happen to get on the sensor filter, the Dust Removal Function vibrates the image sensor to remove any dust that might be present - resulting in flawless, clean pictures.

While most existing white-balancing functions use only standard values according to the situation, the GX-20 provides delicate, 100K step color temperature adjustments which give a more accurate white-balance control.

• 11-point Auto Focus

The GX-20 measures focus at 11 points to include subjects at different distances. It applies 9 central focus points to adjust the focus accurately from any direction, and two additional left and right focus points give the GX-20 great focusing flexibility. Also provided is the focus point converting function (by which a user can choose the location of the Auto Focus subject) and the super-impose function for adding a red highlight at the focus point.

Plus, you may choose from Manual (M), Bulb (B) and X-sync (X) settings for even more versatility, Plus the unique Sensitivity-Priority AE (Sv) mode is designed to automatically select the optimum combination of aperture and shutter speed for a selected sensitivity, and in the SV mode, you may shift the sensitivity simply by turning a dial.

• 'My Settings' Function

The 'My Settings' mode lets you pre-select the modes you prefer to use most often and access those functions faster and more easily. The camera also has a 'Green Button' to automatically adjust exposure during manual photography.

• Built-in Flash and External Flash Options

The GX-20 has a powerful pop-up flash built right into the camera so you'll always have the ability to throw more light at your subject. The camera also works with external flashes and provides P-TTL flash control through its Hot-shoe and also has an X-Sync socket for triggering monolights or other external flash systems.

• Direct RAW File Editing and JPEG Conversion

Converting from RAW files into JPEG is easy with the GX-20's built-in RAW converter. No more complicated software is needed to convert RAW files to JPEG format. Plus the camera allows users to utilize in-camera image editing features on both the RAW and the JPEG files.

• Pixel Mapping
