Sanyo's Xacti VPC-HD1010 High Definition Camcorder (Black) records video in both 1080p (30fps) and 1080i (60fps) high definition straight to SD/SDHC memory cards. This ergonomically designed camera fits comfortably in your hand while you capture up to an hour of video on a single 8GB memory card. The 1/25" CMOS sensor records rich, true-to-life video while the 2.7" widescreen LCD display rotates up to 285° for hard to capture shots and easy viewing upon playback. The HD1010 also boasts 10x optical zoom, 4Mp still image capture, Face Detection and Face Chaser technologies.

Other features include image stabilization, Super-Fast Startup, an HDMI connection, docking station and 2 channel AAC-LC sound recording. Manual controls, including, manual focus, exposure and aperture, to name a few, allow you to explore your creative side. Sequential photo capture and a dedicated external microphone terminal are also featured.

Face Detection technology makes getting each subject's face clear and clean effortless in your still shots. The camera automatically adjusts for brightness and focus on up to 12 faces.

High definition video recording deserves high quality audio recording. The Xacti HD1010 records 48KHz, 16 bit, 2 channel sound for AAC-LC (MPEG-4 audio). An external microphone can be attached to the camera.

Record to either SD or SDHC flash memory cards. The camcorder will record up to 1 hour and 27 minutes of 1080p video on an 8GB card and 1 hour and 14 minutes of 1080i on an 8GB card. You can use up to a 32GB card with this camera.

• HDMI High Definition Output

The HDMI terminal on the included docking station provides you with an HDMI output, allowing for only one cable (cable not included) output of video and stills to your TV for digital viewing.
