The Cullmann 4405 Universal Tripod/Monopod is a well designed tripod that is flexible and sturdy, and is ideal for use with nature, architectural, portrait, as well as any other photographic application. In addition to its conventional use as a tripod, it also features a removable center column which converts into a monopod.

The 4405's trapezoidal-style legs insure strength and rigidity under the most demanding circumstances, which adds additional strength and rigidity to the tripod, especially under load. It carries a load-capacity rating of 17 lbs (7.5kg). Weighing just 14 oz, the 4405 monopod has a unique locking mechanism where a simple single twist of the upper leg section locks all three leg segments of the monopod.

The top mounting surface of this tripod/monopod is a round, heavy duty 2.25" metal mounting plate. In addition, the outside edge of this mounting platform is ridged, which mates up with a corresponding ridged surface found on the bottom of all Magnesit Ballheads.

With features like a center brace, ergonomic full length rubber hand grips, and a great load capacity, this tripod is designed for "universal" heavy-duty use.
