Solid State Performance
The drive utilizes solid state flash memory for data storage. It connects via the SATA bus, and supports sustained read speeds of up to 100MB/sec. SSD drives feature no moving parts, eliminating the sluggishness of spin-up, seek time, and rotational latency found in magnetic disks.
Silent and Power-Saving
The drive is entirely silent in operation, functioning without the need for motors or moving parts. It also generates less heat, and features greater durability and shock resistance when compared to traditional discs. Most importantly, it draws less power than traditional hard disks.
