Product Information

The 640GB Little Big Disk Quadra External Hard Drive from LaCie delivers high-performance in a portable package. Built for the professional on the go, the drive features a triple interface that allows it to be connected via eSATA, FireWire-800, FireWire-400 or USB 2.0, a large 16MB data buffer, a built-in RAID 0 controller, and fanless cooling.

The drive is bus powered when connected via FireWire and offers sustained transfer rates of up to 115MB/sec using eSATA, 85MB/sec using FireWire-800, 40MB/sec using FireWire-400, and 35MB/sec using USB 2.0. High performance does not usually go hand-in-hand with a portable package, but the Little Big Disk is an exception to that rule. This drive is perfect for anyone who needs to work with digital video, high-resolution graphics, or other performance-intensive applications on the go.
