The Aiptek Action-HD 1080p High Definition Camcorder is an entry-level 5MP camcorder for those who want to record in HD without the high price tag. The camera records 1440 x 1080 video at 30fps to either the 128MB internal flash memory or optional SD/SDHC/MMC memory cards. One 32GB card will store as much as 480 minutes of 1080p video, and over 12,000 8MP still images.

Other features of the Action-HD include a 2" Macro Zoom and 3x optical zoom for a little bit of wiggle-room, on an otherwise fixed focus lens. If you're looking to shoot in low light situations the camera does feature an LED light to lighten up the scene. The Action-HD also works as a personal media player; it allows you to record shows or movies from any TV, VCR, DVD player, or other devices with an RCA out, for viewing on the camera's 2.4" LCD screen.
