Built-In Flip-Down iPod Dock
JVC's second-generation TeleDock turns the LT-46P300 into a virtual extension of your iPod, which connects directly to the dock. This setup allows simple playback of video and music on the TV. You also can charge your iPod and watch a program while listening to the iPod.
On-Screen iPod Menu
With the TeleDock, you can use the TV as a giant iPod screen. During music playback, song title, artist, album, and genre are all displayed on the TV screen. Menus and list views are now mirrored versions of what's actually on your iPod. You also can view your iPod photos (or photos from another USB device) while listening to your iPod's music.
iPod Mini Modes
Mini Mode compresses the picture size of your lower resolution iPod videos to look their best on the much larger HDTV. There's a mini mode for 16:9 and 4:3 sources.
1080p Full HD Resolution
The full HD LCD panel combines a high 500 cd/m2 brightness level, a wide 178° viewing angle, and a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio to ensure that all your video sources are able to realize the full potential of 1080p. In addition, a fast 8 ms response rate helps produce a flicker-free, high-resolution picture that enhances your entertainment experience.
ATSC/QAM/NTSC Tuners
The ATSC tuner allows you to receive over-the-air digital terrestrial broadcasts with an antenna, while the clear-QAM tuner lets you receive unscrambled digital cable signals. An ATSC/digital cable input makes connecting to an HD signal a breeze.
Advanced Bitmap On-Screen Menus
You'll be putting this HDTV through its paces in no time, thanks to JVC's advanced bitmap on-screen menus. They combine a pleasing look with an enhanced user interface to make operation a snap. Both intuitive and descriptive, every feature is easy to use with step by step instructions.
3 HDMI, 2 Component Video Inputs
The LT-46P300 comes with a full complement of inputs, so it's ready to serve as the control center for all the equipment you want to connect. The set features three HDMI digital video inputs with HDCP support, enabling you to enjoy the highest level of digital video and audio available today. For components without HDMI jacks, the JVC has two component video inputs for a clean, clear picture.
PC Input
Do you have PC games or files that would look awesome on a big screen? You're in luck, because the JVC LT-46P300 has a built-in 15-pin PC jack. Just connect your PC video and audio to this HDTV and it instantly becomes a super-sized PC monitor.
USB Photo Viewer
The LT-46P300 boasts a USB port with easy access on the side panel. Just connect your compatible USB device, such as a flash drive or camcorder, to display your favorite images in high resolution one by one or as a slide show.
Color Management System
The LT-46P300 is able to realize a competitively superior image because it incorporates several key picture features. For superb color management, the JVC applies sophisticated, pin-point color sampling technology that helps compensate for color range limitations as well as color bleed and interference.
Digital Comb Filter
The set's 3D Y/C digital comb filter with digital and MPEG noise reduction helps reduce noise commonly found in digital broadcasts, DVDs, and other less-than-perfect sources. As a result, you get a cleaner, purer video image.
Black Level Expansion
This technology helps maintain black levels as dark as they can be while retaining all the subtle details of the original picture. You get a crisp, vivid image that heightens the realism of the source material.
Sound Features Package
What would a gorgeous picture be without sound to match? The JVC offers a complete set of sound features, highlighted by 20 watts of total audio power delivered through a pair of oblique cone speakers. The LT-46P300 also features OmniSurround with preset listening modes: Music/Movies/News/Mono/Off. Additionally, there are equalizer presets for: Speech/Jazz/Classic/Rock/User.
Full-Feature Universal Remote Control
The JVC universal iPod-capable remote also lets you operate the basic functions of your iPod as well as a host of other peripherals such as HTiBs, DVD player/recorders, satellite receivers, and cable boxes. The remote also controls the HDTV's selectable video aspect modes, favorite channel memory feature, channel and video input labels, and four picture modes: Standard/Dynamic/Theater/Game, to name just a few features.
