Product Information

The Planon DocuPen R750 monochrome, pen-sized scanner offers selectable resolutions from 200 to 600dpi, and full-page scanning in as little as 4 seconds per page. Its internal memory can store up to 100 scanned pages.

This scanner connects to a computer via a USB port for image transfer and to recharge its battery. This portable wand-shaped device (only 8.9" long and 0.5" wide) can tuck into a coat pocket, laptop bag or purse and can operate from almost any location. Unlike other pen scanners that only scan one line at a time, the R750 is a full-page scanner that scans paper images, laptop or monitor displays, packages, signage and more.

The R750 comes with the ABBYY FineReader Sprint OCR software bundle, providing functionality for converting digital files into editable and searchable formats. PaperPort SE software, an image editing and organizing tool for letters, receipts, pictures, and business cards that integrates with Outlook, Word, Excel and other applications, is also included.

The DocuPen R750 uses a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that is automatically charged when plugged into a computer's USB port. It does not require a separate charger.

• Dual Roller Guiding System

The DocuPen R750 offers a dual-roller guiding system that includes strategically placed rollers around the scanner lens to distribute operator's pressure evenly for smooth, more accurate scans.

• PaperPort SE Software

The DocuPen comes with PaperPort SE software, an image editing and organizing tool for letters, receipts, pictures, and business cards. It integrates with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe PhotoShop and other applications. After scanning, edited documents can be printed, faxed or sent as e-mail attachments.
