With its 5000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors, and 1366 x 768 resolution, the PV40-AVT delivers a picture of startling clarity that rivals real life. Capable of ensuring deeper blacks and brighter whites along with less blurring even when there is motion onscreen.

This high-definition model features a tuner that can receive conventional analog channels (NTSC) and new digital channels (ATSC) including over-the-air HDTV broadcasts. Three HDMI inputs and a variety of other video and audio connections make it simple to connect DVDs, gaming consoles, or any peripheral that you may want to hook up to it.

The audio bundled with the display is a 40 Watt detachable right/left TruSurround XT Surround Sound Speaker System. Other notable features include Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Picture-on-Picture (POP) and XtraView technology for some of the widest-angle views in the industry.
