The ContourHD - HD Helmet Camera by VholdR is an easy-to-use high definition camera for the action sports enthusiast. The ContourHD doesn't mess around with wires or external power sources, it's an all-in-one contained unit that mounts to virtually anything using VholdR's TRail Mounting System. Its water-resistant aluminum body ensures that even in rough conditions your camera will keep on going. When it comes to video quality the camera is there for you with two shooting modes. The 5MP CMOS sensor captures 30 minutes of 1280 x 720/30fps HD video per 1GB in High Definition mode and 60 minutes of 848 x 480/60fps standard definition video in High Action mode. While a 2GB MicroSD card comes included with the ContourHD, the camcorder can accept up to 16GB and is SDHC compatible.

The 135° rotating lens gives you a wide angle view and at the same time is fixed focus, allowing you to forget about the camera and keep your eyes on the trail, slope, or road. The ContourHD also features dual alignment lasers that let you line things up before you start shooting for a more accurate view from your line of sight. Another way in which VholdR ensures a user-friendly experience would be with PC and Mac compatible Easy Edit software. This software makes for fast uploading of your video to VholdR's website as well as social media sites for sharing all your awesome footage. • Flash Memory Recording

The ContourHD records to MicroSD memory cards (SHDC compatible) and comes with a 2GB MicroSD card to get you started. The camera accepts up to a 16GB card for up to 8 hours of HD footage.

• Dual Alignment Lasers

The lens on the ContourHD features two lasers for image alignment. Turn the lasers on and rotate the 192° outer lens ring until the two laser points line up horizontally. The resulting video will be shot from your point of view.

Recording video with the camera is made simple thanks to the over-sized record switch. Even gloved hands can operate the function; simply slide the switch forward to begin recording and slide it back to stop.
