The Panasonic VW-VMH3 is a compact stereo and shotgun microphone designed specifically for use with the Panasonic GS200 and GS400 line of CCD cameras. The VW-VMH3 features a hot-shoe, which establishes audio and power connection without additional cables, connectors or batteries.

The microphone's "zoom", "tele" and "wide" modes are accessed with a toggle switch on the rear of the microphone. "Wide" mode establishes a pick up of a wide stereo field, "zoom" and "tele" modes minimize off-axis noise, resulting in a more focused pick up and greater overall range. The compact VW-VMH3 weighs only 2.5 oz and is a great improvement to the microphone included with the camera.

Switchable wide, tele and zoom modes for wide stereo or focused audio pick up.
Hot shoe establishes audio and power connections without additional connections, batteries or cables.
Shock isolation on the shoe and barrel minimize handling noise.
