The Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS Zoom Digital Camera incorporates a 12x Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon aspheric all-glass lens with Kodak's image stabilization technology for sharp shots and steady videos. It records images with a resolution up to 10.1 megapixel, and features a 2.5" display, PASM modes, auto-image enhancement, on-camera cropping, histogram and a vast array of user-friendly features. Furthermore, the advanced controls available allow users to dive into photography and achieve more satisfying results while Kodak's proprietary color science chip yields pictures with natural details, accurate flesh tones, and impressive color.

The EasyShare Z1012 IS camera also records videos in HD and VGA quality at up to 30 frames per second using advanced MPEG-4 compression while the built-in image stabilization technology reduces on-screen shaking from unintentional hand and camera movement, thereby making videos smoother and more pleasing to watch. • Optical Image Stabilization: Capture sharp, steady shots when shooting at long zoom ranges with the cameras optical image stabilization, which automatically minimizes camera shake to deliver sharper pictures.

• Kodak Color Science Image Processing Chip: With the exclusive Kodak Color Science Image Processing Chip, every picture comes to life just the way you remember it with accurate flesh tones, and breathtaking color. Each time you click the shutter, the KODAK Color Science Chip performs an advanced analysis of collected scene data to identify and adjust multiple factors that influence picture quality.

• High Speed Performance: Using dual sensing technologies, the EasyShare Z1012 IS provides a high speed, auto focus system that is effective in both low light and bright light situations, and there is also continuous auto focus which provides an impressive 0.23 second click-to-capture time (with preview on). Furthermore the camera has two burst modes; the First Burst mode captures up to 3 frames in rapid succession at 1.6fps, while the Last Burst mode captures up to 30 frames at 1.6fps, with the last 3 frames saved.

• Kodak Perfect Touch and Face Detection Technologies: For great shots of your family and friends, face detection technology locates up to 10 faces and automatically adjusts the focus and exposure for you to maximize the visibility and appearance of the subject faces. Then print better, brighter and more vivid pictures using Kodak Perfect Touch Technology.

• Smart Capture Mode: The innovative smart capture adjusts camera settings for great pictures in just about any environment. The Smart Capture feature uses intelligent scene detection and intelligent capture control to optimize camera settings including exposure, focus and ISO based on an analysis of scene conditions for clear, sharp pictures even in low light and challenging situations. Plus intelligent image processing reduces noise and clears up dark shadows for vibrant, crisp details and true-to-life colors in all of your images.

• Manual and Auto Controls: The camera provides a complete range of manual exposure and focus controls for the ultimate creative experience. These manual controls include exposure compensation, aperture control, shutter speed control, ISO Adjust, multiple focusing modes, exposure metering selections, multiple white balance modes, and more. There are also a host of auto control modes including program auto, and custom modes. There are even five color modes (High color, Low color, Natural color, Black and white, Sepia), and an image sharpness control feature.

• High Quality Video Recording: Choose settings for HD Video (1280 x 720 @ 30fps), VGA (640 x 480 pixels @ 30fps), or QVGA (320 x 240 pixels @ at 30fps) video recording with stereo sound and capture up to 80 minutes of continuous video, depending upon available memory, or record 5, 15, or 30 second clips. Video is recorded in the universal QuickTime Video format using MPEG-4 compression, so sharing video clips with family and friends is a snap. Users can even capture still images of video frames and print multiple frames on a 4 x 6" print.

• 2.5" LCD Display with Helpful Display Options: Frame your shots with the high-resolution electronic viewfinder (EVF) or with the 2.5" indoor/outdoor color LCD, and then verify the exposure of your pictures using the histogram feature with highlight clipping. The LCD Display lets you view your pictures right-side-up with auto picture rotation and in review mode, quickly magnify images up to 8x to confirm focus and details, fast scroll through pictures, or view multi up images.
