The high-performance Canon PIXMA MG8120 Wireless Photo All-in-One Inkjet Printer is like having a photo lab in your home - it prints high-quality color and B & W photos plus sharp, clear copies, and converts your precious 35mm film strips and transparencies into high-resolution digital files.
Unlike many other printers in its class, the MG8120 has a high resolution 4800 x 9600 dpi CCD scanner for converting film negatives into digital images. They can then be organized in your computer for archiving or for printing outstanding quality color or B&W photos.
With Canon's Intelligent Touch system control panel, all you do is select the feature you need from the 3.5" LCD display's on-screen menu--then, only the buttons you need light up on the sleek control panel to complete the operation--much faster with no more guesswork!
This all-in-one is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi interface so you can easily print and scan wirelessly, eliminating restrictions on where you can work. Its wired Ethernet networking lets you connect to a home or office network for sharing with multiple computers. Thanks to PictBridge, with a USB connection you can also print photos directly from your digital camera, DV camcorder or PictBridge-capable camera phone.
The MG8120 delivers high resolution color borderless 4.0 x 6.0" (102 X 152mm) prints in as fast as 20 seconds. Many current SLR and point & shoot digital cameras are equipped with HD movie capabilities, which leads to problems for the photographer - while shooting a movie it is likely that a fleeting moment in time may be missed for a still image. The MG8120 is the solution. With Canon's Full HD Movie Print software you can convert those .MOV movie clips from a compatible Canon DSLR or PowerShot point and shoot camera into beautiful photos.
This superior quality all-in-one operates with an efficient six individual ink tank system to yield high quality bordered or borderless photos. Included in this ink system is a gray dye-based ink which helps to add depth to both color and B&W images. With the MG2180's easy-to-use professional printing and scanning capabilities, it will surely bring photo lab managers to tears.
