The blue PowerShot A2600 Digital Camera from Canon is a simple compact camera that, with its 16MP CCD sensor and the DIGIC 4 Image processor, takes high quality, color-accurate photos and 720p HD video. HD video is accessed via a dedicated movie button that switches you from photo to video in an instant. The A2600 houses a 5x optical zoom lens that runs the gamut from wide angle to telephoto. Its 35mm focal length equivalency is 28-140mm and its maximum aperture at the wide-angle end is f/2.8. ISO sensitivity reaches 6400 and digital image stabilization allows you to create crisp images even in low light situations.
A 3.0" TFT color LCD monitor with 230,000 pixel resolution provides composition and playback and ECO mode controls the display's brightness in order to conserve battery power. The A2600 provides Smart AUTO function based on 32 predefined shooting situations and Scene Modes such as Poster Effect and Miniature Effect provide creative touches to your photographs.
