Hitech 4x4" Filter Holder (MK4) - THREE Slots with 105mm Front Threaded Ring (Requires Adapter Ring)
The Hitech filter system is a versatile system designed for use by professional photographers working with large, medium or small formats. This is the standard Hitech filter holder and will accommodate up to three slide-in filters 100mm wide x 1.5mm thick. A large 105mm threaded mounting ring on the front of the holder accepts high-quality glass screw-in filters and lens hoods.
A wide-angle holder (B&H Catalog# HIFHWA44) is available for use with extra wide-angle lenses or for when extensive movements are applied to large format cameras. This version offers two slots for 100mm wide x 1.5mm thick filters and has no front ring.
A third holder (B&H Catalog# HIFH44Q) is available for special situations. It has one filter slot for 100mm wide x 1.5mm thick filters and the 105mm threaded front ring.
Adapter rings are available from 49-105mm, Bayonet sizes, adapters for mounting the holders on the rear elements of view camera lenses, and special wide-angle adapters.

I have a large set of Sinar 100mm square filters and 3 similar Sinar Filter holders. Recently I bought some Hitech and Lee filters which I could not fit in the Sinar frame. I had to buy this one and was amazed to see that it is almost identical, great quality. It can hold both my old Sinar filters and the new ones from other brands, even the 4x6" gradient. I just wished that there would be a provision for holding the 4mm thick glass filters. Also, as a copy of my old Sinar holders, I thought that the adapters could fit each other's brand, but nope, I had to buy a new set of adapters for different lens sizes. I also miss the provision for a lens cover that could fit the filter holder and other to fit the adapters mounted on the lenses.

Fit and quality are nice. With the problems getting the Lee Foundation kit and Cokin Pro holders, this is a great alternative.

I am an amateur photographer and I bought this HiTech holder in order to use 100x150 mm graduated ND filters for landscape photography. This filter holder requires that you also purchase an adapter ring that screws onto your lens. The adapter ring has a smooth flange that protrudes a few millimeters and it is this flange that fits into the holder. The holder has a screw that tightens against a band which squeezes against the adapter flange and holds it securely in place. This sounds complicated but it is actually very simple and it works perfect. Both the adapter and the filter holder are made of metal and everything is designed to very close tolerances. The filter holder (and adapter) are sturdy, well-made and there were no rough edges. HiTech filters fit perfectly and are easy to insert and remove. There is no "light leak" between the inserted filter and the camera lens. Neither the filter holder nor the adapter are expensive. I have read that any 100mm filter will fit although I have only tried HiTech brand. This is a very nice filter holder and I have no reservations recommending it.
