With B&W Close-up lenses, you can dive into the world of macrophotography with a minimum of expense and with a maximum of confidence.Close-up Strength for NL +3
With its +3 diopter, the near-focusing distance of this close-up lens begins at 33cm (13") from the front rim, regardless of the focal length of the main lens. When close-ups have to be taken because of the wide-angle effect of a 35mm lens, the NL3 close-up lens is ideal for a seamless extension of the normal close-up range up to approximately 1:5.5.
The filter ring is made from brass, yielding a stronger product. Brass filter rings are also less prone to jamming. In addition, the seal between the glass and filter ring is exceptionally strong giving the filter added strength and durability. The filter is legendary and synonymous with the highest standards of filter production. It comes with a solid 10-year warranty.
Note! B&W close-up lenses are available in different "powers" (diopters)

Comments about B+W 67mm Close-up NL +3 Lens:
I've used the product to help do a close up while I was in macro mode with my Canon Powershot sx20 and it worked really good. When you look into the close-up filter it can almost be used has a magnifying glass. But dont use the zoom with this product because it won't work. When you zoom on an object with the close up filter it will become all blury because it's not made to help you do close ups while zooming on an object.

Comments about B+W 67mm Close-up NL +3 Lens:
Use like a threaded filter. Got really close to a subject. Closer than I thought I could get. Focusing was easy. I also bought the +2 lens and can use them together to get a greater mag. The two filters added up to $100, cheaper than a macro lens.
