Arca-Swiss Adapter Screw 8mm 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Reducer Bushing
This allows cameras or tripod heads which have a 3/8"-16 threaded socket to be attached to devices which have a 1/4"-20 threaded screw. It is 8mm in length.

I have some old Russian and Ukranian Hasselblad knock offs with 3/8 inch sockets. These bushings were just what I needed to permit the cameras to be used with my 1/4 inch tripod heads.

I have a monopod with a 1/4" male end, but my favorite Manfrotto ball head mount has a 3/8" female end. This adapter has allowed me to use my favorite ball head on my monopod!

Connects my Manfrotto 410 (3/8") to some old Heiwa legs (1/4") perfectly. It's really sturdy there's no slip to it. It fits flush in the 410 and the head rests perfectly atop the legs.
Only issue I had was the bushing was a brass color and not black. It doesn't matter you don't see the piece, Just wasn't sure if I got the same product I payed for.

My tripod (Star D) mounting screw is too short to use with my Hasselblad. This adapter screw enables me to use the larger 3/8" mounting port on the 'blad, which I think is a tiny bit more stable.
This was an inexpensive fix to a problem that threatened to essentially take either the tripod or the camera out of service!
