General Brand 48mm Filter Stack Cap
A 48mm Metal Filter Stack Cap protects filters from dust and scratches while they are not being used. Simply screw your filters together, then screw these stack caps on the top and bottom. They're great for keeping dust, grime and fingerprints off the glass surfaces. Another benefit is that they keep all your filters organized in one place so you'll have access to them whenever you need them.

The stack cap is a classic accessory for storing lens filters and protecting them from damage in a photo bag. The model I received can be attached to a camera strap to carry a few filters, but the best use is to store a tall stack of filters, while allowing easy access. They can be used with rotating filters, such as polarizers, but work best with standard filters. In a pinch, one of the caps can be used as a lens cap on your camera.
