They work as described. Metal stack caps to protect your filters from scratches and dust. Makes it easy to carry all the filters at once. Easy on....easy off.

While simple, this product isn't perfect. I don't mind that B&W filter details are on the inside, but B&W filters and these caps don't unthread well. They attach fine, but taking them apart is another issue. Canon filters don't seem to have any troubles.

For infrequent use these are fine; if you swap out filters often I'd be concerned about how well they'll hold up. So it's a qualified recommendation based on usage. And if I re-ordered I'd get some filter wrenches at the same time

I bought this filter stack cap set to store multiple filters in a compact case. I put all my 58 mm filters in a stack with these caps. Then I put the stack in a padded lens pouch. It fits into a much smaller space in my pack.

Accidentally touching the glass surface of a filter when extracting it from a storage case (not the factory box) and the possibility of the case surface rubbing against the glass prompted me to buy this product for additional protection, especially of thin-ring filters. I use them front and back or back only if a filter accepts only a front push-on cap. The "knob" on the pictured cap is not on my caps so they take up very little space in a filter case.

Simply used to consolidate filters of the same size. Easy to locatre specific filters, takes up les space.

I've been using stack caps to store filters for 29 years......rather that those bulky plastic cases that filters are packaged in.

Great product.... too bad they're so expensive !

Easy method to organize filters compactly in a digital camera bag. Makes a strong self protecting package. Seems good for about 3-5 filters. Like all screw in filters, it can jam if you screw them too tightly togehter.

The are high quality, metal, compact, perfect if you want to keep your filters screwed together. The only problem is that if you want to get to your filters quickly and easily, unscrewing it from the stack will take long and possibly cause you to miss the shot.
