A 72mm Metal Filter Stack Cap protects filters from dust and scratches while they are not being used. Simply screw your filters together, then screw these stack caps on the top and bottom. They're great for keeping dust, grime and fingerprints off the glass surfaces. Another benefit is that they keep all your filters organized in one place so you'll have access to them whenever you need them.

Comments about General Brand 72mm Filter Stack Cap:
An effective way to store filters in a space efficient way. These caps are metal and appear to be robust. With a cap on each end and a few filters sandwitched in between, filters can be tossed into the bag without concern. The down side is, of course, that the filter you want will invariably be in the middle of the stack!

Finally a compact solution to carry multiple filters. While adding weight to my backpack these covers provide better protection for my filters which is a trade-off I will take.

Comments about General Brand 72mm Filter Stack Cap:
Have you ever lost your lens cap when you place it on a filter on the camera in the field? This product solves that. You can screw it on the filter while still on the lens. It won't come off unless you unscrew it. Of course you can also use it for the intended purpose of stacking your filters. Great product.

I have two sets in this size.
One set I use for my polarizer or another single filter I want to carry when I travel light.
The other one keeps my larger stack of filters when I need them.

Comments about General Brand 72mm Filter Stack Cap:
This filter stack cap is very handy. It keeps my three different filters in one place and take up little room in the camera bag compared to the plastic cases the filters come in originally. Saves the filters from becoming dirty or scratched as well. I recommend the cap to anyone trying to save space in their bags.
Comments about General Brand 72mm Filter Stack Cap:
This my preferred method for carrying filters in my bag or pocket.
The metal caps protect from dust, fingerprints and scratches. I have also used the front one help remove a filter that is stuck on the camera. The metal cap keeps the filter from distorting when trying to free it from the lens.

Comments about General Brand 72mm Filter Stack Cap:
These are very nice to use in your gadget bag. You can store more filters in your bag without the bulk of the filter cases. Just screw all your filters together and add the top and bottom cap. When you pack a few lenses and a few filters for each lens, any product that will help you elliminate the bulk in the bag you grab.
