This Ikelite TTL Underwater Housing and Camera Kit
from B&H Photo
bundles the Ikelite 6146.16 TTL Underwater Housing with the Canon PowerShot G16 digital point-and-shoot camera it holds, enabling you to capture photos and video beneath the surface at a maximum depth of 200'. Mechanical controls provide access to all camera functions except for the diopter adjustment dial. The camera's built-in flash is also usable.
Built for durability, the housing is constructed by hand in the USA from corrosion-resistant polycarbonate, which is clear to allow you to monitor the o-ring seal and maintain a full view of the camera. The built-in, flat glass port accommodates the camera's lens, and also accepts optional, external wide-angle and macro add-on lenses. Expand your system by adding an optional Ikelite DS Substrobe. The housing's built-in circuitry and 5-pin electrical bulkhead enable TTL exposure with these TTL-compatible strobes, which are triggered without requiring your camera's built-in flash to fire.
Canon's PowerShot G16 digital camera is a compact, advanced point-and-shoot featuring a 12.1MP, 1/1.7" CMOS image sensor and DIGIC 6 image processing engine. Together, these two elements enable high-resolution still images; Full HD 1080p video at 60 fps; low-light sensitivity to ISO 12800; a maximum, full-resolution continuous shooting rate of 9.3 fps for over 500 shots; and a High Speed AF system, allowing for maintained sharpness when autofocusing in a variety of shooting conditions. The Canon 5x optical zoom lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 28-140mm, covering wide-angle to telephoto length perspectives. A fast maximum aperture of f/1.8-2.8 allows for effective low-light shooting and shallow depth-of-field effects. Additionally, the camera offers a 3.0", 922k-dot LCD monitor and an optical viewfinder. Built-in Wi-Fi is available for instant sharing and transferring of photos and movies to Android or iOS mobile devices via the free Canon CameraWindow app.
