This Equinox Underwater Housing and Camera Body Kit from B&H Photo bundles the Equinox waterproof case with the Nikon D5200 DSLR Camera body, enabling you to shoot beneath the surface at a maximum depth of 250'. The housing's mechanical controls afford access to most camera functions, including shutter, menu, menu dial, start/stop video recording, mode, manual focus, auto focus, ISO, white balance, and aperture dial.
Built for durability, the case is constructed from thermal-based polyvinyl carbonate. The included 4" dome port will accommodate various Nikon F mount lenses, though its size and shape and the overall length of the housing are ideally suited to the 18-55mm lens. The housing's neutral buoyancy can be changed to positive by activating the Ballast Release System, enabling quick, easy travel to the water's surface.
The Nikon D5200 digital SLR camera features a 24.1MP DX-format CMOS sensor and EXPEED 3 image processor for high-resolution photos, Full HD 1080 video recording at 60 fps, exceptional low-light sensitivity to ISO 25600, and fast continuous shooting at up to 5 fps. A 39-point autofocus system enables the D5200 to acquire precise focus quickly across the image frame, and nine cross-type points are centrally located to give even more accurate focusing abilities. Image playback and live view monitoring is possible with the 3.0", 921k-dot LCD monitor, which features tilt and swivel capabilities for better use at high or low angles. For eye-level viewing, a pentamirror optical viewfinder is built in. The camera features the Nikon F lens mount.
