The LD41 LED Flashlight from Fenix was designed for outdoor activities such as search-and-rescue or hiking and camping. This light features three normal outputs from 10 to 240-lumens, a powerful 680-lumen turbo, and two strobe modes. Dual tailcap switches control the momentary and constant-on activation, and output selection. Press the large main button part-way for momentary, click it for constant-on. Use the smaller button to cycle through the output modes, including a disorientating strobe or an emergency SOS signal. An intelligent switch remembers the last output intensity selected and goes to that output the next time it is turned on. Regulating circuitry maintains a constant intensity level throughout the charge of the battery, ensuring dependable performance.
The aluminum alloy body is built for the rigors of daily use. It has a corrosion and scratch-resistant Type III hard-anodized finish, and o-rings seal the housing to give it an IPX8 rating, to be submersible to 6.6'. The light is also impact-resistant to 3.3'. Its circuitry allows it to run on disposable alkaline, lithium, or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, and reverse-polarity protection prevents damage to the light if the batteries are put in incorrectly.
