Comments about Tenba PP12 Padded Insert for P2001 Wedding Case (Replacement):
Fit well in the lower portion of my overnight hiking backpack. Padding was more then adequate as long as some care is taken when setting down my pack. Was able to fit a D200, 70-200mm with hood, 12-24mm and a 50mm into the insert which was everything that I needed.

This insert fits perfectly into my backpack, as well as my messenger bag. Three good sized pockets make it the perfect size for my camera, the cords and an extra lens. Sturdy and lightweight!

Comments about Tenba PP12 Padded Insert for P2001 Wedding Case (Replacement):
I have a large camera backpack that I normally use to carry all my camera gear plus a laptop, when needed. I wanted something smaller and more discreet for carrying in crowded urban areas or indoors when I don't need to carry everything with me. I got this insert to use in a Timbuk2 small messenger bag. The fit is a little tight, but it's flexible so molds to the shape of the bag while still providing structure and plenty of padding. It works great! And the divider inserts are stiff enough to hold the camera and lens up away from the bottom of the bag. I can carry a DSLR body, telephoto lens, spare wide angle lens, extra battery, lens cleaner and a few other odds and ends. And there's enough room to carry a spare point and shoot, too. Much cheaper than buying a new camera bag. I highly recommend it! Though I would recommend thoroughly measuring whatever bag you plan to use it in, first, to be sure the fit is right.

Comments about Tenba PP12 Padded Insert for P2001 Wedding Case (Replacement):
I use this insert for my d90 in a medium timbuk2 messenger bag and it fits nice and snug like it was made for it. It allows for spacing of the camera in the middle and two lens slots (or other accessories since I don't have multiple lenses yet). Good construction and padding on sides and bottom unlike others. Now I can carry around a more stylish camera bag that doesn't scream steal me and hold everything in place.

Comments about Tenba PP12 Padded Insert for P2001 Wedding Case (Replacement):
This insert is great! I love that I can fit it into many of my purses, and achieve a stylish look that still protects my camera gear! Plus, the added bonus of not looking like a tourist is fantastic. Inside the insert there are dividers that can be moved around, and I find this very handy when switching around which gear I put inside. I can fit my camera body with my 17-50mm 2.8, my flash, and my 50mm 1.8 in the bag easily. If I want to carry around my 70-200, its a little more snug, but with a wee bit of stacking it's possible. This is a great insert, and I would definitely recommend it!

If you're like me and you hate those boxy camera bags that scream "steal me" and "I'm boxy and ugly," then buy this camera insert that you can put into any style bag or tote you choose -- as long as it fits! I love it.

Put this insert in a compartment in my Kipling rolling carry on and it nicely cushions my camera and lenses. Now my lap top and photo equip plus accessories ride safely in my light weight carry on bag.

My shoulder bag is not a camera bag, but this fits just right and now I can use it to take my camera discreetly where ever I want. Its good to see companies make a product that can be used with any bag.

The product is exactly what's described online. An excellent solution for bags with the right dimensions that have no dividers. Actually a quite rare product that fills a real need for bag enthusiasts who want to "roll their own."

Perfect for keeping your camera and a lense or two safe. I like that I can move this insert from one bag to another bag. I have a camera gear bag that holds all my equipment, and I have a messenger bag I use for my office job. When I go to work, I toss this insert with my camera just in case I come across something I want to photograph in my travels. This insert is large enough to hold a wide angle, kit lense and my D3100 which makes it too large to use with some of my smaller bags.

I have to admit that I am extremely scrutinizing over nearly every bag I come across. "There is no perfect bag" - couldn't be more accurate of a statement in my opinion. Usually bags will have nearly everything I am looking for and be missing one small feature that I just can't live without. I guess I'm a sucker for minutia.
Anyway, the beauty of this insert is that it can effectively be used in nearly any bag of choice. I bought this insert for use in my Chrome Messenger bag and it fits great. I can safely stow my Canon 7D w/ battery grip along with a lens attached and two others. This is great for toting around town. In the interest of being inconspicuous - as messenger bags usually are, I would highly suggest using this insert.

To see photos of this item in action - visit [@]Today is a day to celebrate this monumental occasion, my Tenba Insert is finally here!!!! I purchased the "Tenba Wedding Insert" from B&H Photo, which comes in black, matching perfectly with the interior of the Chrome Mini Metro. The dimensions of the Tenba Insert is 12" wide x 9" high x 4.5" deep, which is a perfect match for the interior of the Chrome Mini Metro (20" wide, 12" high, 7" deep). On the one side of the Tenba Insert it has velcro stitched into the fabric, which allows me to add velcro strips to the inside of the bag for additional support. Here is what I was able to fit inside my Chrome Mini Metro:• (1) Nikon D300 with grip and Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens attached • (1) Nikon 35-70mm f/2.8 lens• (1) Nikon SB-28 flash• (2) Pocket Wizards (only one pictured)There was ample room left to fit my 12" Apple ibook, some memory cards, batteries, lens filters along with many other random items. Now instead of my Tokina wide angle lens, I could have fit my Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8 lens, mounted on the body, into the center pocket or the lens by itself in the side pocket. I could have also placed an additional SB flash in place of the Pocket Wizards. Best of all, the bag closes properly and doesn't look over stuffed like the Timbuk2 with the same setup. I noticed other users of the Timbuk2 using the same insert, having issues with their flap not able to close all the way leaving some velcro showing. As for my setup, I had no problems with the flap closing properly. Once closed, you could never tell by looking at it, that I had all this gear inside my bag. The Mini Metro's design is well proportioned and still looks reasonably thin when filled with all this gear. It's even thinner with my grip removed from the body. Overall, I am very pleased with this bag and setup. I think Chrome makes an awesome product that truely meet their customers expectations. I highly recommend this setup for anyone seriously looking to go outside the box of traditional camera bags. I would rate this the "Ferrari" of dslr messenger bags as compared to the traditional "Mini Van - Soccer Mom" type of camera bag currently on the market today.

I wanted a camera bag to carry around my body and 2 lenses, but didn't want one that LOOKED like a camera bag, so I found this insert that fits just right inside an old Kenneth Cole Reaction messenger bag I had. It's a little smaller than the white Tenba Photo Insert so this was a little better to make the bag not look so bulky. It fits perfectly inside. Not only do I have room for the body and 2 lenses and both lens hoods attached, there's room for a water bottle and other little gizmos. It's a lot roomier than I thought it would be. Not only that, but the flat bottom helps keep shape to the bottom of the bag so it stands up on its own.
