This B&H Kit consists of the MXL BCC-1 Live Broadcast Condenser Microphone, a Steinberg UR22 Two-Channel Audio Interface an articulating desktop broadcast arm with an integrated XLR microphone cable and a gooseneck nylon pop filter. The broadcast condenser microphone connects to the articulating broadcast arm via its built-in shockmount. The integrated XLR cable in the desktop broadcast arm is then used to connect the microphone to one of the two available pre-amps on the audio interface. The nylon pop filter attaches to the broadcast arm and is positioned in front of the broadcast condenser microphone to reduce the effects of plosives in the recording.
The setup is specifically designed for voiceovers, podcasting, radio shows, and other applications where the talent sits at a desk while recording.
