This is a 53" x 12yd roll of #53 Super Black Widetone Seamless Background Paper from Savage. It is a high-quality, fine-tooth, non-reflective surface that is available in an array of vibrant colors.
They are compatible with a variety of media, and are ideal for photo backgrounds, displays, banners, drafting projects and decorations. Background Paper comes core wound for extra support, and are wrapped in a plastic sleeve to keep out moisture and dirt.

Simple black backdrop for portraits, still life, macro & product work.
The only drawback is the surface is a bit reflective, so positioning lights is important. This is only a problem if you're objects are placed on the paper surface itself (macro and product work). Not so much a problem if this is just used as a backdrop (several feet back from your subject).

Overall this paper has worked well for me. I would prefer to use a cloth that didn't reflect any light back, but not much light is reflected back and it's a good value. The paper is of good quality and stands up well over use, but it is paper and eventually tears. It also doesn't react well to water. I'm sure I'll continue to use this, and buy another when this paper is all ripped and torn.

I love my Savage seamless paper! This is my second roll of super black. Don't be shocked when you open the box though...its not actually black. More like a charcoal gray. Expect to have to do some photoshop adjustments to get it black.

Good background by itself. I have also aimed an SB-600 with a color gel at the background to give it a different look. Anything wider than 53" is difficult to transport.

It's Great for taking Pics of one person. If you are taking pic of more than two people you need to get the wider stuff.
