This is a Pocket Wizard MA1 16" straight Elinchrom to Miniphone Cable.
Although the Pocket Wizard system allows you to fire your strobe from your camera without a wire between the two, the receiver still needs a wire connection to your power pack or monolight.

Got this cable because I already have pocket wizards to control my strobes and this will be used for my Elinchrom Ranger RX AS pack. A little pricey but much cheaper than in Canada where they are asking around $80+tax. Works perfectly.

This works very well when connecting a pocket wizard to Elinchrom studio lights of any kind. They work like a charm. No issues . . .

I use this cable to syncronize my pocket wizard to my studio flashes, although I think it's a little bit expensive for what a get

I use the cord to fire the Ranger RX/AS. I wish Elinchrom would have kept the design simple on the unit. Having a special jack...requires a special cord... which brings in more money for the company. Makes sense for the business end... the user has to pay the [$] for a simple cord. The cord works as advertised... expensive but useful. No issues while connected to the pocket wizard. Hatch
