This Ikelite Underwater Housing with Canon PowerShot ELPH 150 IS Digital Camera Kit from B&H Photo bundles Ikelite's #6243.50 Underwater Housing with the compatible silver Canon PowerShot ELPH 150 IS Digital Camera. Benefit from the ability to capture high-resolution 20MP still images and HD 720p video beneath the water's surface at a maximum depth of 200'.
The housing's mechanical controls, including push-buttons and a knurled knob, enable access to all important camera functions. Built for durability, the enclosure is designed, constructed, and tested in the USA. It's manufactured from corrosion-resistant polycarbonate, which is clear to allow you to monitor the o-ring seal and maintain a full view of the camera. The housing's 3.9" diameter flat glass lens port accommodates the camera's lens and also accepts external wide-angle and macro add-on lenses, as well as color-correction filters. Expand your system by adding an optional AF35 AutoFlash strobe, which is triggered as a wireless slave by the firing of the camera's built-in flash and replicates TTL exposure. The housing is also equipped with dual ports for Ikelite, Sea & Sea, or Olympus-type fiber-optic cables. The 12-24 thread with 3.0" spacing enables connection to an optional tray and handle(s), which will provide improved buoyancy and handling and attachment points for lighting.
The Canon PowerShot ELPH 150 IS Digital Camera is a compact point-and-shoot with a 20MP, 1/2.3" CCD image sensor and DIGIC 4+ image processor for high-resolution still photos, HD 720p video recording, and low-light sensitivity to ISO 1600. The 10x optical zoom lens offers a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 24-240mm, covering wide-angle to telephoto perspectives. The camera is also equipped with a 2.7", 230k-dot LCD monitor. The Smart AUTO mode provides readily available settings for 32 predefined shooting situations. Creative effects include Fisheye Effect, Toy Camera Effect, and Monochrome.
