The Electro-Voice 7100 Power Amplifier is a single-space rackmount, 2-channel power amplifier, offering an ample 100 watts of power at 8 ohms per side in dual mode, and featuring fanless, ultra-quiet, convection-cooled operation.
Originally designed as the powering component for the HF drivers in a tri-amped P.A. system, this quiet, efficient workhorse is modest in appearance, and ruggedly constructed to withstand the rigors of daily professional use.
While Electro-Voice currently markets the 7100 as a contractor/installation amplifier, this often overlooked, and vastly underrated unit, is in fact an excellent alternative for use as a powering solution for nearfield monitors in the recording studio or post-production control room.
