The Beyerdynamic MPC65 is a boundary microphone with a semi-cardioid polar pattern. The microphone is designed for use in conference, speech, house of worship and telephone / video conference applications. The semi-cardioid pick up pattern minimizes noise and ambiance at the off-axis sections of the microphone. Noise that reflects off the surface of the mounting area is also filtered, resulting in maximum response at the direct pick-up area of the microphone. The tailored, flat frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz provides a low-frequency roll-off to avoid noise due to rumble, proximity effect and wind. The MPC65 is designed with 3 different connections. This versions features a surface mountable 3-pin XLR male output.

- The unobtrusive, low-profile MPC 65 boundary microphone is available with a variety of terminations. This version includes a flush mountable 3-pin XLR male connection.
- Semi-Cardioid Polar Pattern
- The semi-cardioid polar pattern eliminates off-axis audio and ambiance as well as surface bound noise and rumble.
- Low-Cut Frequency Response
- The contoured, flat frequency response features a low-cut filter that minimizes rumble, surface and wind noise.
