An inexpensive way to get into macro. I use it with an old manual focus Minolta lens, resurrecting that from the un-used gear bag. For reference, I get a full frame DX image of a quarter with it. Shallow depth of field as expected. My particular example had a stray bit of material hanging off the edge of the lens mount flange, don’t know if it was aluminum or the finish but it was easily removed. Could have been a big problem if got into the camera so an inspection before use is recommended.

Using this to reverse mount an old Zuiko 50mm lens onto my DSLR - produces some interesting macro shots. Only negative is I wish it was easier to grip when attaching to the camera body.
