The Kaiser Diffused Sweep Shooting Table consists of a metal frame, and a curved piece of opaque white acrylic. It requires a space of 20 by 20 inches (50 x 50 cm) on a desk, or a table. Objects up to about 12 x 12" may be placed on its curved opaque Perspex sheet, can be illuminated from all sides - also from underneath - and can be photographed without unwanted shadows. Other background sheets may be placed on top of the surface.
An optional table with clear Perspex can be mounted on top of the basic table. Objects placed on this combination seem to float above the surface of the table or the background attached to it.
As an alternative there is an optional table with a flat crystal glass plate to go on top of the basic table. This can be used for technical and scientific photography, for example to shoot medical specimens vertically from above.
