Just a tip. Buy extra replacement lamps every time you purchase a light fixture. The supplied lamps work just fine but I guarantee that you'll always blow one at the most unfortunate times. Better to replace "the replacements" when required as opposed to stopping a shoot or scrambling to find a supplier when the stores are closed.

2 out of 3
Picked up three of these guys for a few lights. One burnt out after several hours of use, the others are still going strong.

I bought my tungsten light back in 2001 and just now I had to replace the bulb. That's 9 years without having to replace anything!

My only issue with this bulb is how easily they break. But I'm not sure if there is a bulb out there that doesn't... We only use these lights for video.

[...] includes a nice foam insert to keep skin oils off the bulb during installation. The bulb itself was rugged to survive the usual wrestling match that happens during fixture insertion. Also, the box is nicely labelled for when the bulb is filed in the stock. The last on of these I had survived several years and a trip to Asia and back before finally wearing out a few months later.

Fits perfectly in the Lowell Pro Lights. Gives good even light. Other cheaper lamps are to long, giving uneven light. This is a great light.

Ok, so it's a replacement bulb for my lowell light. Not much you can mess up. But it works. Thank you B&H
