This cap is similar to the caps that come on some third-party teleconverters. It can break more easily than others. I've had similar caps crack or have one of the tabs break, making them fit very loosely on the lens and sometimes falling off. However, it still works as an inexpensive alternative to the superior original Pentax caps.

Fits okay on Pentax lenses but could be tighter. Build is thinner than others but how thick does a rear lens cap really need to be? In the end it does the job.

Easily applied and removed, but like many 3rd party rear lens caps for Pentax bayonet, it is too easily unscrewed and released. It never really cinches. You always have the feeling that you'll lose it in the field someday. But until that day actually comes, the price is right.

Fits snug on my Pentax-M lens. Beware, though, that it is very loose and prone to falling off of my Pentax-DA lens (KAF3 mount).

I got tired of taking the cap off the lens I was mounting in order to put it on the lens I was removing. I'm lazy that way. For a small price, I gave myself the luxury of a second cap. It works.
