Snoots, Barndoors, Grids, and Filters are essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices alter the shape, intensity, or color of the light output from your flash heads.
Consider them as a painter would a brush, or a sculptor would a knife, or chisel.
Use of a snoot will result in a small circle of light, when it is attached to the front of your light source.
The size of the circle of light will be determined by the opening of the snoot, its length, and the distance of the subject.
- Highlight small area of your subject.
- Alter the size of the circle of light even more by using the included grid spot.
- Alter the quality or color of the light by using the included filters.
- Fits on many 7" flash head reflectors.

This seems to be adequately well made, however, it has too large a diameter to fit Paul C Buff standard 7in reflectors.
It DEFINITELY won't fit with the springs attached and I'm confident that it wouldn't even fit if were to drill out the pop rivets and remove the springs.
