I ordered several albums because of the overall size. The outside is a medium weight plastic that "ripples" over what appears to be a cardboard core. The worst failure, however, is the ring binder assembly. One binder had the ring bar loose initially and another separated from the cover once pages of photos were inserted. I have returned one and it is being replaced, but I would not recommend this album.

I love the size. Unfortunately the construction is about as poor as it gets. It works, but I don't expect it to survive for long. Is this PVC?
