Hama Sync Extension Cord - Male PC to Female PC, Straight - 16.5'
This is a 16.5' straight extension cord for an existing sync cord. A sync cord provides the necessary connection between a power pack or monolight, and a camera, or triggering device that has a female PC (post connection) terminal.
Straight cords are lighter, and usually more economical than coiled cords; coiled cords stretch when necessary, and are more heavy duty than straight cords.
Premium sync cords have gold-plated ends, for longer lasting sure connections.

It works. The cord is good quality and it does its job well. There is much more I can say about a cord. I use it so I can place my flash in different areas.

There is not much to say about the cord. It simply works.
I am using it with a hot shoe adapter (also Hama) to use my Canon 430 EXII off-camera, as I cannot afford the "proper" method.
It works reliably, build quality is superb, and connections are tight.
Right now it is an invaluable tool in my camera bag. I use it constantly to give me more control over my flash and allow for better light placement.
Assuming I can ever afford a wireless kit, or get another flash this cable will serve as a proven and reliable backup.
I would buy again and again.

This product seems to serve its purpose. The only issue I have is the male pc connection into the camera seems a bit loose for my tastes.

I only give it four stars because it does the job, but otherwise nothing spectacular. It works and it's in my bag when I need it. I quickly discovered I needed to switch to wireless flash triggering so I purchased Alien Bees Cybersyncs instead. This will stay as a backup or an additional method of firing an extra flash if I'm short a flash receiver.

A fine cord. Already used it five or six times. I shoot mostly indoors so the length is great, almost more than I need. The connections are firm so far. I wish there was a bright color, so it's easier for people to see and thus not trip over. Haven't had that problem yet, but that's my general opinion on cords.

I needed a way to get my flash off of my camera, and this along with the Hoya adapter worked great. It hasn't failed me yet.
