Comments about B+W Step-Up Ring (Lens to Filter) 52mm - 67mm:
It's very well made. But then it should be at these prices. The interior has a nice matte finish, which might prevent reflections. It also has some knurling, which might help in screwing it off.
But, I had to return it because it did not work well stacked on top of a Hoya HD UV filter. It never "caught". It turned endlessly. This is when I screwed the lens side of the step-up ring into the UV filter, which was on the lens. The ring screwed in and stopped when I screwed it directly onto the lens. It also worked fine on a different brand filter. But another brand of step-up ring works fine on my filter.
So, I'm sure it's a great step-ring, but it did not work well with my particular filter.
I never put a filter on the "filter" side of the step-up ring, only a 67-77mm step-up ring, because apparently B+W does not make a 52-77mm ring.
I recommend it only if you don't mind the price and don't care about the problem I encountered.

Comments about B+W Step-Up Ring (Lens to Filter) 52mm - 67mm:
I purchased the 52mm to 67mm B+W step-up ring to avoid having to buy multiple polarizing filters for my Nikon DX lenses. Works great! The B+W quality shows in the sense that one can remove the ring from the polarizing filter to transfer the filter to 52mm lenses with little binding (often a problem with step up rings).

Comments about B+W Step-Up Ring (Lens to Filter) 52mm - 67mm:
Works like a charm. However, be aware that you might need a filter wrench or some other assistance in separating the ring from a filter once they're joined. I don't consider that a flaw, but it's good to know ahead of time.

Got a set of 67mm filters by accident, this makes them useful on my Nikon 35mm Prime lens.

Great construction; pitch of threads is perfect to easily thread onto lens. You only need to buy this once ina lifetime unless you loose it-buy a quality ring.

Comments about B+W Step-Up Ring (Lens to Filter) 52mm - 67mm:
I bought a second zoom lens but it used 52mm filters instead of my original lens which used 67mm filters. If I wanted to get a new set of filters, that would have set me back a bit. One filter that I do not use all the time is the circular polarizing filter, which is not cheap. I use this ring to use the same filter on both lenses. It works great and with high quality build.

Comments about B+W Step-Up Ring (Lens to Filter) 52mm - 67mm:
Great for adapting the filters for a bigger lens to your smaller smaller filter lenses so you can buy and carry just one set of filters. Worked very well, starts on the threads easily, much better than cheaper ones I have used. It's worth the little bit extra for higher quality.
