Comments about B+W Step-Up Ring (Lens to Filter) 67mm - 72mm:
Well built step up ring. It has saved me a bunch of $$ and weight by allowing me to use the same filters on two lenses.

Comments about B+W Step-Up Ring (Lens to Filter) 67mm - 72mm:
Everything I put on this got stuck. A Canon Close up lens filter, a Tiffen ND filter, and a Nikon C-Polarizer. The first time a filter got stuck I tried everything I could think of to separate it from the step up ring - with no luck. After some internet searching I discovered several additional methods of separation that eventually worked (hold in hand to allow metal ring to heat up and expand, grasp the inside threads of the ring to relieve an pressure on the threads of the filter, etc). Although each of these other methods did work it was, in most cases, not a quick process. I'm going back to filters that are the same size as my lens. This was way too much trouble.

Comments about B+W Step-Up Ring (Lens to Filter) 67mm - 72mm:
I have a good multicoated 72mm Circular Polarizing lens from another lens and with this stepping ring I can use it on my 70-200mm L lens. I haven't had any problems with using a stepping ring so far. Its a lot cheaper than buying a Polarizer for each lens?
